Cornell Game Development

INFO 3152 is a project-based course where programmers and designers collaborate to create a computer game. The course combines the theory and practice of game development, exploring both technical and creative aspects:

  • Technical Aspects:

    • Software engineering for game architecture.

    • Artificial intelligence for dynamic gameplay.

    • Game physics, computer graphics, and networking.

  • Aesthetic and Cultural Aspects:

    • Art and 3D modeling for visuals.

    • Sound and music for an immersive atmosphere.

    • Game balance and player experience to ensure engaging gameplay.

My Role and Project

I took this course as a designer, collaborating with a group of programmers to develop Undetected, a strategy stealth game. The game challenges players to navigate obstacles and complete objectives without being detected, blending tactical gameplay with immersive design elements.
